The Tag Heuer Monaco V4 range of watches is by all accounts, one of the most sought-after Tag Heuer watches we've seen in a while. First introduced in 2009 with the release of the Platinum Edition, the Monaco V4 range sprang another version a year later called the New Generation Rose Gold Edition". And now that it's 2011, the Swiss timepiece maker has decided to introduce the latest addition to the line: the Titanium Limited Edition. Sporting the same 41mm "New Generation" V4 case, the Titanium edition differentiates itself by the use – and plenty of it – of titanium on a number of its parts, including the case, the hour markers, the hands, the crown, and the folding buckle. On top of that, the watch also features a mix of Ruthenium and Ceramic with the former used as the black coating on the ridged dial of the watch while the latter runs along the side of the watch. As a special edition watch that's limited to only 200 units, the Tag Heuer Monaco V4 Titanium Edition won't come cheap. Prices have yet to be announced, but it is looking to fetch a price tag of about $120,000. The watch is set to become available in October, which means that anybody with any remote interest in buying this watch will have about four months to save up for the purchase. It’s been over a year since the last Hummer rolled off the production line, ending the gas-guzzling era of the oversized and intimidating vehicle. Now, in a production more ironic than Congressman Anthony Weiner actually showing off his wiener, General Motors has unveiled an electric golf cart version of a Hummer for all of those men in plaid pants that want to display their machismo on the course. The MEV Hummer HX is now on sale for a bargain price - when compared to a full size Hummer - of $16,000. The MEV Hummer HX electric golf cart was named after the HX concept revealed by GM in 2008. It is powered by a 3.75hp electric motor, but a $1,475 5.5hp electric motor is also available as an upgrade. The model comes standard with upholstery embroidered with the H2 name, a custom floor kit, polished chrome wheels, side rails, a rear license plate, a painted front grille, H2 logos on the sides and rear, a HUMMER stamped rear bumper, and an H2 body kit licensed by General Motors. We’ve seen a lot of expensive timepieces in these pages, some more audacious while others literally scream "bling." However, stop us if you think that you’ve seen anything remotely close to what Hublot’s new BB Watch is bringing to the table. More importantly, do you have €2 million ($2.9 million) to spare? The watch is, without question, one of the most expensive watches we’ve ever laid our peepers on. Rightfully so too, considering that the watch is made from 18 karat white gold and comes with over 140 karats of diamonds made from 637 individual-cut ’baguette’ diamonds that have been placed piece-by-piece together without any spaces in between. Take a few seconds to look at that watch and just study how all those pieces are actually diamonds. Crazy, indeed. According to Hublot, the watch took over 2,000 man hours to finish with 45 gem-cutters working on it. On top of all the bling that makes up the entire piece, this €2 million financial torpedo comes with a tourbillion movement and an offset hour and minute indicator. And to justify just how exclusive this timepiece is, it’s the only one of its kind with F1 czar Bernie Ecclestone showing off the watch at the recent Monaco Grand Prix. This time last year, BMW was teasing their all new M3 Frozen Gray Edition with the high maintenance exterior paint job and 30 unit limit. It didn’t matter how irrational the purchase was, all 30 units were immediately sold out - it only took 12 minutes - and BMW is hoping to have a repeat performance with the special edition 2011 Frozen Black Edition M3 Coupe. That’s right, BMW just made the frozen paint that much hotter by slapping on some black paint. The Frozen Black Edition M3 Coupe will be distinguished by BMW’s Individual Frozen Black exterior paint with a deep metallic luster to accentuate the athletic lines of the legendary M3. The interior will look much like last year’s model with Novillo Leather and unique red-contrast stitching. The package will also add M3 GTS black wheels, red brake calipers, and gloss black exterior trim elements. The engine powering this bad boy will also go unchanged, so expect to see the same 4.0-liter, 414 HP M V8 engine equipped with BMW's M Double Clutch Transmission (M DCT). The 2011 Frozen Black M3 will be limited to only 20 units, but one model is going to be held back at BMW North America to no doubt make a killing at an auction at a later date. However, if you want to be one of the lucky 19 to pick one up, then call BMW at 1-800-245-4269 no earlier than 11:30AM Eastern Time (8:30AM Pacific) on Thursday, June 16, 2011 and make sure you have $79,650 to part with. | TopSpeed Rendering: 2015 Audi R4 Posted: 10 Jun 2011 12:00 PM PDT  Volkswagen’s plans to roll out three production versions of the BlueSport Concept sparked all sorts of discussions on which vehicles would get treated to the design. As of now it looks as if Porsche will be dishing out the 550 (Baby Boxster?) based on the iconic 550 Spyder launched in 1953, Volkswagen will be serving up the Bluesport production model using the concept’s design, and Audi will be treating us to the R4. The new Audi R4 will only be offered in a roadster version and will take its design inspiration from the E-tron Spyder concept, as well as new design lines that will also be seen in the next generation R8 supercar. It will be powered by a choice of three engines, including the current 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine featuring a new variable cam and valve lift control system and an output of about 280 HP. The second choice will be a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine with an output of about 350 HP and the third will be a twin-turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel with an output of about 200bhp and 295lb ft. Audi will be debuting the new R4 sometime in 2014 with sales starting in 2015 at about $40,000-$45,000. | Rapper Flo Rida charged with DUI in his $1.7M Bugatti Veyron Posted: 10 Jun 2011 11:00 AM PDT
Rapper, Flo Rida - aka Tramar Dillard - hit a Low in his personal life after deciding to jump into his red and black Bugatti Veyron. after indulging in a "few" drinks on Wednesday night. Apparently, the American rapper and singer proved the Club Can’t Handle Me when he was caught driving under the influence at about 4am somewhere in Miami. The police officer making the arrest said Flo Rida had bloodshot eyes and was slurring his speech when he was pulled over. In an attempt to escape the usual roadside sobriety test , Flo Rida told the police: "Officer I can’t do this. I don’t feel I can walk a straight line. I had a few drinks." Upon taking a hit of the breathalyzer, the rapper scored a 0.185 alcohol level which is more than twice the legal limit. Of course "few" was not the correct word as the breathalyzer test measured .185 or more than twice the legal limit. Bad move, Flo. Flo Rida was arrested and charged with a DUI after the failed sobriety test, even though a large crowd had gathered to defend the rapper and convince the men in blue to let him go. Of course, it didn’t help that he was also driving under a suspended license. Didn’t he learn anything from Paris Hilton? Fans of the rapper can rest easy, though. Flo Rida easily posted the $2,000 bail needed to get him out of the clink and has been granted permission to head on overseas to Bangkok and Thailand for a series of gigs that had already been scheduled. Renault has unveiled the Megane Renaultsport (RS) 265 Trophy - the company’s fastest ever road going model. The special Megane will make its world debut at the World Series by Renault at the Nurburgring next weekend and will be limited to only 500 units. It will only be sold in specific countries in Europe and will be priced from €35,500 (or about $52,000 at the current exchange rates). Compared to the Mégane Renaultsport 250 model, the new RS 265 Trophy model delivers an extra 15 HP, will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 6 seconds, and will be capable of a top speed of 158 mph. It will feature some very impressive equipment including a Cup chassis, Recaro seats with yellow seat belts and detailing, 19" Speedline alloys in gloss black with red rim, standard Liquid Yellow i.d. metallic paint, ’Trophy’ red decals on F1-style front blade and doors, LED daytime running lights, and Renaultsport Monitor on-board performance tracking. For the most part, most of today’s supercars call the European continent their home. The growing trend of these high-powered machines has stretched far and wide in the continent with established countries like Germany, Italy, and the UK being joined in the supercar arms race by Sweden, Denmark, and Spain, among other countries. Now you can add Poland to the mix. The country best known for their polish sausages is set to introduce their very first supercar courtesy of Arrinera Automotive. The name for this Lamborghini-inspired beast hasn’t been announced yet, but Arrinera has nonetheless released a number of renderings to give us a first look on what to expect when this Polish hammer hits the streets in the future. Initial details behind the car suggest that it will ride on a tubular steel chassis and will come with a carbon Kevlar body with plenty of carbon fiber, aluminum accents, and premium leather upholstery. It will glide along the streets with large diameter light alloy wheels wrapped around ultra low profile tires, 255/30 R19 at the front and 335/30 R20 at the rear. Stopping power will come from Ceramic brake discs. As for the powertrain, there are whispers that it will come with a mid-mounted 6.2-liter V8 engine with four Eaton superchargers, producing an output of 638 horsepower and 604 lb/ft of torque. UPDATE 06/10/2011: After seeing the first sketches of the Arrinera supercar just a short while back, we were about ready to take a look at the new Polish supercar in real life.
